I have a situation in my novel Blood and Fire, where the threat to the world comes from a bunch of scientists and engineers who have discovered a way to harness energy from the world of the gods to power a new alluminum plant.
Baring in mind that this is a fictional tale involving magicks, does anyone know if there is a real world version of this scenario that is theoretically likely in Iceland. Something that would generate more power and cheaper than geothermal? …or along the similar lines, harnessing the energy direct from a volcano? Let your imagine run wild in the confines of (a kind of) fact…
