I did manage to get one measily paragraph written last night before I went to bed…
It was the lead up to the more upbeat conversation between Ben and his father, which in turn leads to Ben going off on his own after his sister (and sets up the premise that the son goes off looking for the daughter whilst the father stays nicely out of the way in Reykjavik).
And this is the annoying thing, I know what I need to write, I know how to write it, and most importantly I want to write it the trouble is I keep on doing other things like decorating, or gardening, or web work, or LiveJournal posts, or (as in last night) making rhubarb jam (*rabarbarasulta* in Icelandic!)…
So if you could all just hassle me to get on and write for a change… 🙂
Rabarasulta
I find sitting in front of an internet-connected laptop doesnt help. There is always one more webpage to ‘check’. This is why little Dana is so useful. I can’t procrastinate on it – although I must admit that when I hear the email sound in the other room I still seem unable to resist its siren call.
At least you can turn off the little beepy noise in Outlook! Now stopping yourself chopping rhubarb…?
