After a little bit of confusion and much tweaking to the file and brain alike I have managed to convert my ( irrelevant links ) page into Strict XHTML 1.0 that parses! My first DTD-valid page!! Yippee!!!
(…something curious has happened to the borders on my javascript drop-down menu and the little dancing troll picture of me next to the heading has slipped in it’s alignment – but the page parses!!)
Hurrah! Now you just have to convert all your pages and do your layouts in CSS and you’re a guru 🙂
And then … once I’ve done all of that I can think about doing even more with CSS like that Zen Garden website you showed us… 😉
