A while back I forget if it was in my journal or in moonglade‘s but I was talking about some artwork from my college days that got destroyed in a fire. I have since failed to find the negatives to make more prints of these, however I have found the combined exposure print. I don’t know what to call it, meal time, or just simply pizza…
Anyway, until I’ve figured out how best to display things like this elsewhere in visuals, I will post it here till then…
That’s rather nifty. I’ve always liked double exposure photography. Done deliberately, or was it a happy accident? My b/w shots from foundation are still some of the best snaps I’ve ever taken…
Done deliberately. It was the end of the holiday and we were driving back up through France to get our train home, stopped in this little town to have a pizza at this restaurant. I still had some film left in my camera so I set it up on the tripod next to our table, with the shutter-cable attached. Occassionally I would take a picture. Then back in the darkroom I worked out the correct exposure for one picture, divided it by six, aligned the negs carefully and gave them all 1/6th of the time they should have had.
Consequently, you get this slight haziness where it didn’t align properly, but actually I quite like that – makes for a bit more atmosphere…
Glad you liked it! Thanks! 🙂
