Friendship never ceases to amaze me. I’m the kind of person who finds it difficult to make friends easily (maybe it’s AS, maybe it’s not – I’ve only just started down that road of discovery), and I could do with a few more really really close friends (maybe). However I am very lucky to have the v. good one’s that I’ve got. I’ve met some terrific one’s here (you know who you are, and there are some fantastic one’s at work too. As I said, it’s amazing just how and when good friendships are formed – but it does happen…

Without exception my family is very important to me. I am close to everyone of them, and they support me like I support them. I wouldn’t be without them for the world…

I could do with more. True I have my own (v. nice) house with garden, I have a cat, and go on holidays: but it would be nice to not have to think quite so much before every purchase, and would be nice to be able to just give when charities need it.

My job a Blackwell’s is so so – it’s comfortable and secure enough, easy, but it’s not so much challenging any more and let’s be honest it is as a friend once said the HiTech equivalent of cranking handles on a conveyor belt of processed peas. My career, well it’s there, it’s going somewhere, it’s just not quite there … yet!
Spare time activities | 10
I’ve put 10 because I never seem to have a quiet moment (which I like) – I can’t sit still. If I’m not otherwise occupied in work or chores, then I’m writing, or playing flute, or reading, or drawing, or printmaking, or gardening, or baking, or making jam, or conservation volunteering… I could go on, but I’m sure you get the picture by now!

It’s mine. I don’t share it with anyone. I can do what I like. It’s warm and it’s comfortable, safe, and it has a south-facing, not-overlooked garden (which considering it’s a modern house in a rabbit warren of an estate is quite amazing). But it’s not an old house with character in a beautifully stunning location, and despite the value of 115 thousand it’s only got the one bedroom…

So so. I have own teeth, and all my limbs and organs are intact. I could do with trimming down to size a wee bit, but on the whole everything seems to be okay…

Only about four months. Didn’t know about the thing until shortly after we started going out… Looking back I should have got out straight away…
Where do you work in Blackwell’s (and which one)? I used to work there a number of years ago.
Ahh I worked in the main shop in Oxford.
Blackwell Publishing (the merged Science and Publishers companies…) now out on Oxford Business Park or next to the BMW factory as it’s otherwise known…
