1. What do you most believe in?
Friendship. Almost a couple of years ago, after my folk’s house burnt down I didn’t get any sleep, went into work and battled through (well I could hardly stick around the house on my own always thinking of it could I?!) – I knew instinctively who I could tell and who I couldn’t. I really realised the importance of friends and the unconditionalness that true friendship posesses.
2. What do you wish you had time for, or could make time for?
I think I manage to do most of the things I want to, but I guess I wish I could have more time to devote to all of it. It’s the simple pleasure of reading – curling up in the arm chair with a good book for hours on end – I always say I’m going to do it more, and I always fail. I guess that’s the writer in me … a notoriously bad reader…
3. What makes you feel happy?
So many things. A weekend with family, a spell of successful writing, going away and meeting new friends, meeting new friends in the strangest of ways (like LiveJournal for instance – it’s fantastic!).
4. What has been one thing that greatly surprised you by having something to teach you that you wouldn’t have expected it to?
That the one event that stopped my writing for close on a year (the fire I mentioned earlier) was the event that started the writing again of my novel Blood & Fire again. If you had told me before I started it that the grief I felt that night, was going to allow me to write Ben’s grief, I don’t think I would have believed you.
5. What do you wish you had known when you were younger that you know now?
Who I am, and the way that I am? The confidence that I have gained from the likes of Sarah, Tina, and Kim at work. They are Production Editors, so they are brutal pedants – but I’ve needed that. Part of me kind of wishes I’d done things a bit differently at school and college, been more confident and outgoing, but if I had, I wouldn’t be hear today with the friends that I’ve got – I may not even be hear on LiveJournal, so there you go!

Are you Anna Wolf perchance?
Here are your questions…
1. What makes you really very happy?
2. What drives you get up in the morning?
3. What or who is most important to you?
4. What is the more fogiveable? Intolerance or Dishonesty…
5. Where would you most like to visit and/or live and why?
Yes, that would be me.
1. Watching movies. Being with my cats. Reading. Traveling [when everything does not go wrong].
2. I honestly have no idea. I find it very difficult to be me and I don’t seem to fit in anywhere so I tend to be frustrated and lonely quite a bit. I guess looking forward to doing the activities I mentioned above in question 1.
3. My cats [affection]. My mind [survival]. My car [escape and freedom].
4. Intolerance.
5. I don’t know where I would like to live yet and if I did, I would be working toward getting there. I do enjoy New Orleans, Salt Lake City, and Anchorage quite a bit though. I know I really detest living where I am which I am certain contributes to my crankiness.
As far as visiting, I’ve always wanted to go to London & Paris which I will be doing this Christmas. I would also like to visit Egypt, Johannesburg and the surrounding South Africa area, and see a plethora of European castles [all over wherever]. Ireland and Australia might be other places I’d go but I could take it or leave it.
I have 9 cats so it’s hard to do anything.
