Plotlines

I’m looking at the beginnings of chapter two, like I originally wrote it – most of it is good stuff but I’m still not sure where I’m going … then…

Helen is with Ben and Hanna in the roadside cafe. They expect her come back to Reykjavik. She tells them she can’t. She’s promised someone she will do something.

Helen tells them some of it – why she has to meet this person, but it doesn’t explain everything.

Together they go off and meet the Stanger in the Hills. The legend/scrolls are given over to Helen, and they part (for a time) from the man. – with knowledge of the new Magmatic Alcoa Plant.

On their return from the highlands back to Reykjavik, Hanna and Ben demand to know the whole story.
