I have to drive past this every day to and from work. What’s more, the rest of the (not insubstantial) village is similarly decked out.

Is that Charlton-on-Otmoor? We went out there Tuesday (on the way to Murcott) and stopped for a gawp at their lights, as we do most years. 🙂
