Relieved, but still peeved

Well, a phone call to the guys at Hoover later (and an internably long time listening to what can only be described as an electronica version of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons) I have managed to purchase myself a new hinge for my Hoover AM 120 washing machine. I had feared that it could be like cars and cost something in excess of 50 quid, or like so many modern appliances and be unfixable, so I am somewhat relieved that it’s only going to cost me a shade over 11 pounds…

It’s still annoying though!
