Chapter two is drawing to it’s close. I’m not sure if I’m going to make the 19-20,000 words that I estimated for this stage of the novel, but the tension is I think mounting. I have just written a powerful 850 words that takes Helen into the centre of the highlands, into the eye of the storm, and links her to the power that lies within the heart of this adventure.
Current wordcount: 34,330
Of course as the trolls arrive and discuss the matter in song, that she hears in her mind, the storm ends, and she collapses, drenched and drained, so the reader is still unsure as to what she has discovered, but rest assured they are closer to discovering it…
Hey, the proof of the pudding is in the eating you know?! This chapter is almost done, where upon it will be available to nice personages who read and enjoyed chapter one to have a read…. This said, what if it stinks? What if it just doesn’t work? What if I’ve lost it?
Then again, even worst case scenario, something will be salvagable!
