Spurred on by siren_songs and nevers, I think I may have a try at this 48-hour Zine Challenge thingy that teawoodart has set up. I’ve never done a *zine* before, but the concept sounds similar to things that I used to enjoy doing as a kid/student so maybe it would be an opportunity to get back to my roots…
And as siren_songs says: I think you should take part in the 48 hour zine challenge because… It’s damn good fun and a wonderful way to express yourself and give you a break from The Novel 🙂
Now, all I have to do is to decide what I am going to do it on…?!!

Note: I am writing this sat outside in my garden, with the sweet smell of spring all around me. ^__^
That was such a tiny bit of writing to hide behind a cut.
I used to do a zine back in the early 90’s. Got to six issues.
Are you tempted to have a go at this 48 hour challenge then? What kind of zine was it that you used to do, and under which veebotic name was it?
It was called Veeb, and it was the international journal of veebism, dealing with all manner of veebotic veebism in the form of art, poetry, interviews and other miscellanea.
I was thinking about entering the last Zine I did, called “Crappy” (subtitled “The really amazingly sh*t fanzine”) – I did that about 2 months ago as a project and it was basically a whole load of junk off my harddrive poured out through my printer. I can send you the only copy I made if you like.
