Today I received a copy of Full Tilt #2 and Glory-of-the-snow by Megan and Heather respectively. This, together with Helen’s All that matters is what makes you happy, which was waiting for me when I got home from holiday yesterday, will give me lots to read this weekend. Seeing them, also makes my Passport of Words looked rushed and amateurish by comparison – still the deal is that I exchange it with others, so I shall have to get this together over the next few days…
Which reminds me? Who am I to send them to? nevers, sitonmykarma, and treasure_box obviously. And I need to get two off to teawoodard – incidentally, what’s happened to her? I need to find out where to send them? Anyone know? …but did I say I would send/exchange it with anyone else?
Edit: I am of course referring here to the 48 hour zine challenge here, of 11–13 June.
Cathy has deleted her journals teawoodart and soulgardener, but she’s still around under the guise of.
what’s a passport of words?
Silly me
I never did say did I?!! *grins* It’s my attempt at the 48 hour Zine challenge of 11-13 June – as are the other three I mentioned.
Re: Silly me
okay once again i say, what on earth is that? 😛
Re: Silly me
Short booklets of self-published material, often a mixture of words, drawings and photographs. I think this might tell you more.
Re: Silly me
lol i mean i know what zines are..
oh never mind.
Re: Silly me
Sorry, I’m being dim! I thought you probably did, which is what confused me!
Passport of Words is basically a miscellaneous collection of words, poetry, drawings and found objects, from or inspired by my travels over the years, bound together in a passport. So like your visas stamped hither and thither in your passport, so are the words and such…
i hope you like my zine.
and oh, if you have a chance can you edit this entry and remove my last name (or leave it as G)? sorry, i’m paranoid about having my livejournal connected to my full name.
No problem, I’ll edit just as soon as LJ allows (ggrrr this slowness!) *grins* Sorry for the two name thing… ^__^
And yes, I’m sure I’ll like your zine.
