This weekend has been both busy and relaxing, equally in good measure, at the same time. Yesterday, I began in earnest yesterday with my spring cleaning and ‘de-cluttering’ project – finishing sorting through my library of books and putting them all in alphabetical order and by genre. Today, I worked on my other winter project: the digitisation of my record collection. I started with two albums from my early years – Sesame Street’s Tenth Anniversary Album and BBC TV’s Watch album. I’ve put these onto cd, and will post them off tomorrow to my little nephew Ben to enjoy. I’ve also recorded Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar, which is still perhaps one of the man’s best works.

In between all of this, I have been working through my sketchily written Icelandic journal from last summer, and typing it up. Now, it is complete, and all that remains is to put it in to xhtml format and post it up to complete the saga. When it is, and it should be soon, appropriate syndication will take place in these pages…
