Okay, so it is the day of the General Election, and I have been and done my democratic duty. Now, post wind band, I am watching the very funny Rory Bremner, and switching over to th beeb during the ad breaks for a few results. I don’t intend to stay up all night – I’d be unlikely to even if I didn’t have work to get to by 8 o’clock tomorrow morning – so here are my predictions…
Labour win a third term by with a greatly reduced majority
Tories regain some seats
Liberal Democrats storm ahead and (note: I would like them to come second and form an official opposition) come a very close third place
Wouldn’t it be good if both Tony Blair and Michael Howard lost their seats… *grins*

Not *quite* close enough :-/ I just cannot *believe* there are people who prefer Michael Howard to Charles Kennedy – it beggars belief.
