I’m trying to learn a bit of Romanian in advance of my holiday (Thursday – yay!!). I’ve mastered Yes (Da), No (Nu), please and thankyou. I think I can say good morning, good afternoon etc, and I can say Please and Thank You but I can’t spell them. I can also just about count to 20.
One thing that I notice about Romanian is a similarity to French, Italian and Spannish with many of the words. Then again, I shouldn’t be too surprised, as the clue is in the name: romananian – a romance language. I wonder how I will fair in my two days in Timisoara on my own…? I’ll be fine, I know, but still, I am a little scared.
Aren’t all good things a little scary before the event?
Aren’t all good things a little scary before the event? Well, yes, I should think. And you should know, because you are always diving into these new adventures. I look forward to reading all about it. Have fun, Thomas. You always seem to make the best of everything that comes your way 🙂
A little, but I would imagine you would be used to it by now. 🙂
You seem to adapt very well to these new situations, regardless, and have a good time. So, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
Can’t wait to hear all about it!
They are – I guess with holidays it’s the sense of the unexpected. Scary in a good way, though.
Have a lovely time!
