BTW, do you know who left that anonymous comment in your journal on the self-publishing post? Was it someone from CC, do you think?
No idea I’m afraid! They seemed to be really laying into me for ‘possibly thinking about self-publishing my book’ even though my post was just a general view.
Any ideas who it might be?
No, I don’t have any idea, either. Not quite sure what their point was – your post seemed perfectly reasonable to me – especially as some self-published books end up catching the eye of and being published by major mainstream publishers. The views you expressed seemed perfectly valid, to me – and certainly not deserving of that rather pompous telling-off you got from person unknown :-/
PS. I have replied to said pompous person. I also have a pretty good idea who it is. One or two lines gave it away. If I’m not much mistaken it is the person behind…
How on earth did you work that out?! Who *is* this person?
Someone who I used to work with. To be honest I didn’t know he still read these pages…
By the way, how are you this week. You’ve been awfully quiet these past few days both on here and CC – Melanie was wondering too.
I’m hoping that you are just waayyy to busy writing in preparation for the early March thing… 🙂
I’m currently in the clutches of a vicious migraine, so I’m limiting my computer time at the moment :-/
Awwe, I’m sorry. I’ve only ever had really bad headaches so I can’t begin to imagine what a migraine must be like.
Hope you feel better soon!
