Another Sunday, another sunny day, and another (bike) trip down memory lane. This time round, Emma and I go out on our bikes along the Bucknell Road and over the M40 to gaze upon an old (possibly listed??) watertower that used to stand on Emmaâs childhood friend Emmaâs dads farmland and which she used to go out to as a kid.
The ride is good, but we do decide that we must sort out some sort of false crossbar thing so that we can put Emmaâs bike on the back of my car with mine, and go off and find more exciting places to explore. Places that we can reach from my house do seem to be a bit limited…
Emmaâs gone now. Early, so that she can go for dinner at her parents. I kind of feel a bit lost without her around. How am I going to be after our weekâs holiday together?
