So Marks & Spencer are to start charging for plastic carrier bags. This is all very good and I applaud their decision. Why can’t they be giving away the cotton/canvass/jupe bags instead of the plastic bags for life in the run up to May 6th?
And also, come on Marks and Sparks, make a real difference and stop using quite so much plastic packaging in your store. Is it really necessary to vacumn wrap all your fruit and veg?
