Our relaxing end to our holiday in Snowdonia, during which time we built over 17 metres of drystone wall, came to an abrupt end this afternoon. We had pottered down out of the mountains, stopping for lunch, now traditionally, at Wittingdon Castle, and then did a weekâs shop at the Tesco in Banbury. What we werenât expecting was when we got home to discover the news that William Jefferys â one of the Jefferys-Shepherd cat tribe â was missing. Whatâs more, he was missing since Wednesday. Emma is, naturally, distraught. Kate came over and helped us look for him, but no joy. Whatâs worse is that Em thought of him on Wednesday, and on Thursday really missed him like she knew something had happened…
