At least it has been sunny today, and we’ve been able to get much of the washing through, even if the house and garden does resemble a Chinese laundry. We’ve registered William as lost and stuck posters up around the neighbourhood and been out and about and driven around places and searched high and low and called William’s name. Thinking that he might have crossed the ringroad and got lost in the fields we drove round to Caversfield and found a nice part of it – a freakily American in style estate of broad streets, huge houses, and earily deserted. It was almost like the testing station scene from the latest Indiana Jones film.
