After the what has felt like two or more months of weekends filled with moving-related activities, today we have got to enjoy a proper Sunday. After yesterday’s to-ing and fro-ing on the M40, we got up leisurely and then went off to explore the grounds of a Rousham Park – a privately-owned stately home close to Steeple Aston.
Even on fairly gloomy day, it is atmospherically beautiful amongst autumnal leaves, and the walled garden is sumptuous with a proper, working vegetable garden included. The free apples at the main entrance were a bonus too, and scrumptious! 🙂
