Sadly, I didnât quite get round to decorating (or de-blueing) the spare bedroom before their arrival, for this weekend my parents came for a weekend visit and this time they brought Barney along too.
We were able to go for a nice walk by the canal at Somerton amidst a picture perfect sunset before retiring to our lounge by the (fake) fire for my mumâs birthday cake and presents and then a roast dinner. All very nice and civilised and relaxed (and Barney wasnât too disturbed by being in the house at the same time as five cats either!)
