I’ve had a quiet day today. Emma had to go into work this morning so I had a lazy time having breakfast whilst watching some tele I’ve had on ye olde digi box for months (in this case the Blue Peter is 50 documentary which has been very entertaining. Em’s Grannie phoned just as I was about to get moving and have a shower so we had a bit of a chat; I’ve been processing the washing like there’s no tomorrow; and then I set about making my study … errm … studyish.
For far too long my newly-acquired book-lined study has been too much of a disorganised mess and I don’t want it to be one of those. I want it to be a room full of inspiration and ideas. So I set about sorting out the filing and chucking out some rubbish from the piles. I also found a home for my music in a nice wicker basket that used to have a home in a past-kitchen but now goes rather well on the Ikea shelfing.
Then, with industriousness in full swing I started putting my library in order. They were already sorted into genres but now the general fiction is in alphabetical order and the childrens fiction is also similarly arranged. All very productive…
And now its snowing again. Ho humm…
