Emma’s doing weekend duties at work, so my duties are to do the Saturday morning cleaning. I’ve discovered that last night’s Now Show makes a very good accompliment to cleaning duties. That said, I had moved on to the wedding playlist by the time I was doing the downstairs toiletâ¦
I was still listening to it as I mopped up after a small flood. The handle had somehow come loose and this caused the water-cut off after flushing to not work as it should and thus as I turned my back on the toilet to do the sink I was suddenly away that water was gushing out over the top of the cistern.
Edit: The toilet’s fixed now but I have discovered in the process that the overflow from the toilet appears to pour straight out into the garage somewhere behind the fridge. I fear that its something to do with the washing machine having been plumbed into the garage.
