A day in Buckinghamshire today; journeying to a land still capped in ice and snow. First off we went to Amersham to collect Grannie, before stopping off at Sue’s to return her coat, and heading on to Em’s parents. We had a nice caserole dinner and profiteroles to follow, before a leisuely afternoon. I read some of my Nigel Slater cookery book and talked with Grannie whilst Emma had a sleep and Mr and Mrs J went out for a walk around the block.
Then we settled down to the afternoon, everyone helping Liz out with her crossword with maybe the occasional cross word spoken about it.
