I’ve had a very nice, productive day – at work. That is to say, after weighing up the various factors, including Emma’s bronchitis and potential need for my caring duties, and the icy-snowy weather, and the fact that I really can do my job just as effectively from home as I can from work, I decided to work from home again. I set myself up at my desk in my study and shut my way and worked, really, productively worked.
Of course I had the classic moment of, towards the end of the morning I was struggling to fix a niggling bit of code, so I left my desk, went downstairs, wrapped up warm and donned my walking boots and shovelled snow for half an hour, came in, had lunch, and went back to it … and fixed the problem. Brilliant!
I love days like today. 🙂
