Today’s commute to work was so and deadly, if beautiful. I always knew I would have to take it carefully, but I was expecting somewhat less snow on the major backgrounds than I actually got. In places I trundled along at 20 mph in fourth gear, and it wasn’t until I reached the Oxford city limits that the roads were truly clear and I was able to, accelerate into the 20mph zone.

It was a beautiful drive into work though; country villages and sweeping fields carpeted in winter whiteness…
