Following on from a successful writing week, I am back to the kind of writing which is more akin to snatching moments. These, most frequently, come at lunch, after the others have left, just finding enough time to get one hundred, maybe two, words down.

Today has been particularly successful as I snatched just short of a page durin gthe day and just over one, this evening.

It’s a funny chapter this one. It is just in the lead up to Beth’s party and Louis is walking between his two lives just as we might – and he does – walk between two rooms. Lewis enjoys dinner one moment, with wife Amanda and daughter, and the next he is Louis, with his meal for one and his photography magazine.

Can you tell that I’m having fun writing this scene?
