So, for the third year, we at Abingdon Concert Band were joined at The Guidhall in Abingdon by Wesley Smith for another evening of music. For the past two years we’ve been taking a trip through the music of movie musicals. This year we took in the music from the movies. With the absence for this concert of Rachel, our star piccolo player, I braved the smallest instrument in the band for Beauty and the Beast and Pirates of the Carribean – not that I was at all audible in the former.
