After the beauty of sunshine on a two-day old haw frost yesterday, today was the antithesis of winter weater: grey, cold, miserable and wet. We had a productive day though, heading out to buy party-food for tomorrow and from Lidl, Waitrose, post my Christmas card, and collect Emma’s cake from Cobby’s Cupcakes in High Wycombe, and then for a very long, wet drive home up a Friday afternoon M40.
