Basic Info

Bio
I am Thomas. I work in Oxford for a global STM publisher. I am an Electronic Production Editor for Science Division working with colleagues in Oxford and Edinburgh. I am also a writer, and as such requires the (as Philip Pullman puts it) teaspoon of criticism served up with a skip load of praise.

Currently I am working on my third full length novel after a history of writing tv drama, film and theatre scripts, along with numerous aborted attempts at novels.

A Buxton boy by birth, I grew up in the east coast town of Lowestoft, studied at uni - first in the middle of a Cheshire field, then at Oxford Brookes.

I have since school been diagnosed with epilepsy, and have recently had the self-diagnosis that I have aspergers, but I let neither of these effect my life. They both give reasons for why I am Me, but do not dictate my choices.

I love to travel, and I love to get involved in conservation volunteering. BTCV Internation Holidays have helped me combine both these in some very memorable trips which can be read about in the travelogues section of this website.

I monitor the [info]bvtoday and [info]streamofthought communities.
