John Keaton, a famous Hollywood Director, comes to be the Principle of Kingston University College, Winchester with a vision. When he makes his acquaintance to the dreamscholars, a group of dedicated young students who include Julie Stevens, Paul Robbins, Sally Fletcher, Kathryn Williamson, and Russell Sinclair - he decides to implement his vision. Under his guidance they are to create a film that will help to revitalise and rejuvenate the British Film Industry.

Riverhouse

Siân Williams and Wil Simons are two young lovers who meet one summer afternoon in a busy town centre, only to be separated just weeks later by war and devastating tragedy. Five years later they are reunited in Riverhouse, the last surviving 'safehouse' for the orphans of the Revolution. As the end of the war unfolds, certain truths are revealed concerning, and surrounding the identity of Siân's parents, that Wil finds it impossible to accept. The future of his relationship with Siân is put into doubt.

Jodhi Taylor has inherited the La Rochelle based Le Journal. Istra, Kristine, Marcela, Nicholas and Peter are students of the Eurocentre. Eloï and Nicole d'Artagnan are the native link that brings them all together as friends. Together they soon become involved in the re-launch of the magazine. Returning home after his mother's death, Etienne d'Artagnan is looking to reconcile his differences with Jodhi - his cousin adn once tempestuous lover.
