The blue wallpaper in the lower part of the room isn’t what I would have chosen, but it disappears all the way up the stairs and round the landing, and I’m not doing all of that. Thanks to dado rail running round the (now cream) bit, I could do the remove the wallpaper in the upper section without going all the way up the stairs…

Incidentally, with the exception of the three diddy little pictures at the far end of the lounge, all the pictures are my own doing… – the one through the doorway nearest you on the left was done (in one of my last exams ever) in 10 hours for my A-Levels…

Hmnn, yes. The big 30 I’m afraid… Still, at least I’m younger than the three piece suite that you see there 🙂
