Well if you check out the travelogues section you will see how I developed my interest/facination/love for Iceland (plus also that I have family out there!). If you go, you will see immediately why I had to write a novel set out there.

Present tense? Are yes. That’s the Thomas Shepherd Style! And no, not really – in fact I find it harder to sustain stories in the past tense. I think it stems from my screenwriting experience – and something which seems to work…

I’m intrigued by the setting of your novel – how? why?
your use of tense is rather ambitious – did that happen naturally? I imagine that it’s difficult to sustain.
