Done deliberately. It was the end of the holiday and we were driving back up through France to get our train home, stopped in this little town to have a pizza at this restaurant. I still had some film left in my camera so I set it up on the tripod next to our table, with the shutter-cable attached. Occassionally I would take a picture. Then back in the darkroom I worked out the correct exposure for one picture, divided it by six, aligned the negs carefully and gave them all 1/6th of the time they should have had.

Consequently, you get this slight haziness where it didn’t align properly, but actually I quite like that – makes for a bit more atmosphere…
