Yeah, I forget now where I found ? It was fairly recently which makes it worse – normally I can remember how I get from one to the other in that degrees of seperation thing – I guess I must have been looking through someone’s friends list and spotted her, thought she looked interesting…

Actually I think you might be the first person to *befriend* me before I’ve *befriended* you?! Normally it’s the other way round…

Museums and Art Galleries?
Off the top my head? There’s the Tate Modern, and the V&A – they’re worth a look (as of course the British Museum and the Tate Britain). If you get a beautifully crisp, sunny winters day you ought to go up in the London Eye (big wheely thing!). Take in a West End show? I’ll continue to thinks about it…

Ah, I see anonymah is on your friend list. She is awesome. I comment in her LJ A LOT. In fact, my comments in her LJ are practically entries by themselves. I should probably just send email instead! I tend to comment more than I post. I’m typing and I can’t shut up!

I am not exactly a big city kind of gal but I do enjoy museums and art galleries. I love the cinema. I also have a great appreciation for old world architecture as well as antiques.

I have a friend in Newcastle I would like to visit and I definitely MUST go to Paris. I may book flights for these so I will be spending minimal time getting to where I am going. I will be in Europe for 8 days so I want to maximise my time.

I have a French friend who lives in Dublin but wants to relocate to a different country [I don’t know where yet] and may not be able to get time off to see me.

My impetus for going there initially was to meet someone in Essex with whom I have been corresponding for a year and a half but that did not work out. What a mess!

I have been told that the tube does not run on Christmas Day which is when I arrive and that a taxi will be extremely expensive and I will be overcharged so I figured I should probably stay near the airport [Heathrow is where I arrive].

I feel like a gerbil or hamster in a exercise wheel just running in circles. Maybe I should change my name to Gerbil Girl. *sigh*

It’s the weird and beautiful think about LiveJournal isn’t it, that you can read a post in your *friends* page (and either because of the icon or something in the words used) it leads you out to someone new and strange and before you know it you’ve added them as your friend…

I’m in Oxford which is about an hour or so out of London (not that I go there much – I’m not a London/big city kind of person – although I am close and should really make use of the art galleries and museums more) to the west. I could try and make some suggestions, but what kind of thing are you inerested in…?

I read some of your comments in the Asperger community and followed the links back here to read your LJ.

Being an American and having never been out of the country before [I don’t count my trip to Mexico], I have zero concept of geography. Are you anywhere near London or do you know anything about it? The reason why I ask is because on an impulsive moment, I purchased a non-refundable airline ticket to travel to London this year for Christmas. I was supposed to meet up with someone I knew but that is no longer happening. I haven’t a clue where to go or what to do and thought perhaps you might be able to make a few suggestions.

I apologise if it’s rude of me to ask you this being that you’re a complete stranger.
