On a more serious note, I do happen to think that we should perhaps be spending a little more time researching the unknowns out there on our planet (say, the deep oceans for example? Do you remember the Blue Planet series of a few years back?) before going off to other planets.

I would be amazed if you were convinced last time around since neither you nor I were even born when they landed on the moon!

I am totally convinced by the way, and it is an amazing feat by both the Beagle team and the USA team to attempt this, whatever the outcomes.
