I used to work in Percy Street!! It’s just off Tottenham Court Road (on the other side of the road from the Dominion and just up a bit from the side entrance of Megastore). Will definitely make a stop there next time I’m up that way.
Cheers!

Re: hey, half(not sub)-standard found

As long as you post your views I don’t mind. Did you really phone Soho Wine from Portugal?

And what are you doing in Portugal?

Re: hey, half(not sub)-standard found

I meant the former, not de former – but it reads so exotically well – so, sorry, you know?

hey, half(not sub)-standard found

From National Distilleries – Liquer de Cacao or Crème de Chocolate. I’m using de former and doing it right now! Can I post how it turns out in degrees of deliciousness?

Yup! Vana Tallinn is very Estonian! 🙂

Use the finest chocolate, and then, like I said substitute the Vana Tallinn for your favourite liqueur (surely you have something nice out in Portugal?). And remember to post your alternatives here!

I know you told us to use only the finest and I’ve had absolutely no problem – except with Vana Tallinn (sounds kind of Estonian to me…) and Soho-thingy are polite to the extreme but won’t deliver in Portugal which is where I’m spending half my life now. Any alternative ideas or am I just being a chockie-addict pest? Thanks for any kind of answer. Yes, truly.

It’s funny you should mention that, but yes, as it happens…

You want to give Soho Wine a call – they do mail order – or actually, you’re based in London aren’t you? Do you pass anywhere near them? 🙂
