Yes indeed, the partner of one of my colleagues works in Bicester, and most of the people she works with live further north e.g. Northampton, so we were kept up to date with things. I was getting a lift, and we left Wallingford at about 5 and it took us an hour and a half to get to the north of Abingdon.

To be honest, when I left work, it was *a lot* worse than slightly *off* weather conditions. But you’re right. Surprisingly (and thankfully) everyone seemed to being quite sensible about it 🙂
