Apart from silly signs saying ‘Bedfordshire, a progressive county’, ‘Northamtonshire, Rose of the Shires’ it is hard to tell.
Then of course there are historic and adminstratative counties.

I would guess I have visited them all except the Isle of Man and the Scilly Isles.
