I usually support the underdog. One of the reasons why I didn’t support Martina Navratilova – she just dominated the game for far too long. Steffi Graf was I guess a bit of an exception but that was because after a couple of years she wasn’t invinsible and she seemed to have a few more interests in her life – wasn’t so single-minded…

I agree with you about Sampras – stooging round the court ape-like with his tongue out his mouth, hitting aces and winning everything – boring!

But good on you Sharapova! I even shed a little tear of joy…

Managed to finish watching it through the video channel – very snowy, but I could just about see what was going on 🙂

Not that I’ve got anything against Ms Williams, but I do get rather bored when any one player dominates (Pete Sampras’ endless wins used to bore me to tears).
