Not sure now how we stumbled upon journals, I think it was through the friend-of-a-friend/2 degrees feature, or it could have been through / – another of the photographers on my list. I’m not sure what else to say, except she does seem to have a way of capturing the moment in her portraiture…

Aha, it’s funny that it should be you of all my friends to pick her. She is the other Helen on my friends list, and as such, another one one who has had to learn to read past the fictional recounting of the Helen in my novel. She’s one of Rachel’s closest friends, and I stumbled upon her journal about this time last year when we were both writing in the community, and she was playing a character out to blackmail me.
