Hrmm, not sure. Edwig is probably Anglo Saxon in origin, so possibly Icelandic too…?

My Mum used to have an old Edwig (sadly lost in the fire of 2001), and then when I was little she made me Son of Edwig out of wool and old sock, and I made a smaller still Edwig The Third when I was little. More recently I have a shop bought Edwig Jr … so this one is naturally also Edwig… 🙂
