So will you be tuning in on Sunday to see the school that raised me? 😉

Your userinfo gives the game away, but I guessed Pakefield before I looked it up 😉

I wouldn’t have said it was that *tough* a school at all. We never used to have a school uniform so I wonder if that makes it more *visually* interesting for the tele?

Basically there are three high schools in the town: Kirkley, which is south of the river, and then north of the river (yes that’s right, foreign parts!!) there was Denes High and Benjamin Britten High. Even though Denes used to be the old grammar school, and Kirkley the old Alderman Woodrow Secondary Modern, the existence of Benji (as we used to refer to it) used to take all the “posh/rich” kids from north of the river, leaving Denes with the rest. Kirkley had a nice healthy mix of everyone… 🙂

Interesting the main feeder schools for Kirkley High were, Kirkley, Pakefield and Elm Tree Middle. Kirkley was a bit rough and tough, Elm Tree was a bit posh and leafy and Pakefield were most the children of teachers and Ministry of Ag and Fish employees… 😉 (can you guess which one I was at?)

If so, wouldn’t it have been better to choose a school that didn’t have this kind of set-up already in place? And is it *really* that tough a school? I mean, it doesn’t exactly sound like inner-city London or something…

I took care to sit on the other side of the table today. After all, us rock stars can’t be too careful for fear of psychotic fans… *grins*

Have you recovered from your near death experience from flying cutlery?
