Yes, but you only have to get 4/5 to pass the test, and I took the test having not read those chapters for months and months.

I couldn’t get the answers to my own test right if I hadn’t read the chapters in question recently!!

Hrmm, maybe it is too hard… :-\

You failed two of the questions. If you check back at the results, you can see my correct answers.

yes, it’s true…

…writing a novel is the easy part – it’s editing it that’s difficult!

He has a website too: http:\\www.williamLspencer.com

I think I’m beginning to dread finishing my book and starting on the revising/redrafting of it about as much as I have been looking forward to it. Between the advice that you have given, and the reviews on YouWriteOn and WriteWords I’m going to have lots of criticism to think about and weigh up…

Thanks for doing that for me. I don’t think it’s particularly hard is it…?

I’ve written advertising, PR, corporate stuff (lots of it), and I’m currently about 85% through my first book. I’ve published fiction and non-fiction (fiction in a weekly newspaper and in a literary journal), and my fiction and non-fiction have both won numerous prizes. It got monotonous, so I stopped entering. I’m dissatisfied with many of today’s trends in literary fiction, and can’t stand those stories where nothing happens except people sit around expressing their unhappiness, having “feeeellllings” and worrying about other people’s “feeeellllings.” I’m not sympathetic to “chick lit” or to “romance horror,” and I find a lot of what is declaimed as earth-shaking contemporary literature to be pretty dull stuff, so I’m no doubt pathetically out of step with what passes for today’s trends.”

Ooookkkkkaaaaayyyy 🙂
