To be fair, I only put the ham in because I realised that otherwise I only had onion, red and green pepper and thought it needed *something* else. The original recipe suggests loads of things but you just end up with congealed mess, hence me saying to chop really fine and cut back a bit…

Emma is *officially* on a diet in that she is paying the money and going to the slimming world meetings and records her eating strictly, but I’m basically on it as well, as I have just as much to lose. If I hang back a few weeks then Emma gets to have a free week when she introduces me, although I seem to be doing alright at the moment unofficially.
