I’m not that bittersweet is quite. I’m just always amazed how much can happen and yet how similar things are when you look back over milestones. Like the census meme thing last year.

Five years ago today I’d just recently split up with Andrew. My posts for the day reveal I’d received £100 from Nana to spend in America, where I was going the next month. Would never have guessed then that I would subsequently live in Paris and now have a job in Oxford… and be engaged to someone at that point in time I’d only met twice!
