I woke up at 2 o’clock with aches and pains and feeling a bit sick. I did manage to doze a little bit in the morning, but when I got up for breakfast I was (apparently) very pale and sickly looking. So I eased myself into the day gradually, taking a soak in the bath and then dozing for a bit longer. By mid-morning I was feeling decidedly perkier and got up to cut the grass before lunch.
