We drove first to Amersham, through stll snowy roads, to collect Grannie, and then on to a beef caserole lunch with Pecan to follow, and Christmas presents again.

In the evening we settled down with our cheese and biscuits and our dates to watch the Doctor Who Christmas special and to cut our Christmas cake for the first time – yum!
