I thought it was another no show. They were supposed to arrive at 10:30. They didn’t. Then Emma realised that we hadn’t changed the clocks!! Buggeration…

An hour later, almost right on queue, a nice couple arrived with a van but with a sorry story to tell of utter incompetence. They weren’t officially starting working for the BHF until tomorrow but had already been out to help them out on Friday, and again on Saturday and again today, and they had already realised just what a disorganised and incompetent shambles the office is.

Not, what you might call, a great start to show your new employees…

Ggrrrrr!!!! I simply donât believe it! You want to know something that is quite simply unbelieveable? No, actually, it’s completely believable and completely expected for the bl**dy British Bl**dy Heart F***nig Foundation to have lied, lied, and thrice lied over their collection of my furniture.

I’m trying to support them by donating something to them?!! Why can’t they just damn well collect?!!

Edit: Thankfully, Em’s working this weekend so we weren’t going anywhere anyhow. It’s still damn annoying though – waiting in for no one…

Ever since last Friday, and the failure to have my three-piece suite and double bed collected, the garage has been an interesting place to navigate with us having to go out he front door, and in through the garage doors to access the washing machine and secondary fridge-freezer. I managed to reschedule the collection for today, and specifically some time after 1pm.

I left work in plenty of time to ensure I was back in time, and settled down to wait. And wait. And wait still further…

For a second day, the British Heart Foundation has failed to collect my furniture. They assure me that they will send someone tomorrow morning. We shall see.
